Fast and Furious Actor Vin Diesel Takes Up the Role of Santiago in the Upcoming Video Game Adaptation Produced by Him

Lately, a running trend of adapting video games into movies and series has been pretty prevalent in the community. Joining this trend is Ark: The Animated series based on the video game Ark: Survival Evolved. A recent development has arrived which highlights the Fast and Furious series actor Vin Diesel entering the series.

Ark: Survival Evolved is a 2017 action-adventure video game projecting an open-world environment. With regular day and night cycles, the games thrive on their dynamic nature. But the players are required to combat fictional fantasy creatures, the hurdles of the suspenseful journey, and survive in the end at all costs.

Recently, The Game Awards tweeted, “Vin Diesel will play Santiago in Ark: The Animated Series, based on the game, coming in 2023 on a TBA platform.” Moreover, this news became even more prevalent when the fans got to see Vin Diesel under the “Features” list toward the end of the newly launched trailer.

It is to be known that Diesel is also the executive producer of the animated series. As goes for him voicing Santiago, the role seems to be perfect for the actor. Driven by the hunger for learning the elements on Earth, Santiago tries to use this knowledge to weaponize the elements to protect his tribe. Thereby, reflecting how Diesel protects his family in the Fast and Furious from the evils of the world. It would be even more exciting to see how the actor gives the role of Santiago a great touch. Meanwhile, one can play the game on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC.
