Dinosaur footprints dating back 113 million years have been uncovered after severe drought conditions dried up a river in Texas. The exposed fossil of a hadrosaur – a large, plant-eating, duck-billed species – was found in the Dinosaur Provincial Park of Alberta, Canada. An exquisitely preserved dinosaur embryo has been found curled up inside a fossilised egg, unearthed in southern China, dating back some 66–72 million years.
