BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo recently opened her own YouTube channel, Happy Jisoo 103%. While fans will see much of her through its content, there is two specific ways the channel showcases her true personality.

Perhaps predictably, Jisoo’s channel was an instant hit: within 16 minutes, she had already hit 100k subscribers, reportedly making her the fastest K-Pop idol to reach that milestone. As of the time of this writing, Jisoo has already hit 1.55 million subscribers.
This comes in light of YG Entertainment‘s exciting confirmation that Jisoo is currently working on her solo album.
Jisoo had previously addressed the question of her suspected 2023 solo debut on Weverse by reassuring a fan that they could expect her solo to come out this year.

Fan: Chu!! Can I look forward to Jisoo’s solo album next year??!!
Jisoo: Also wait for Jisoo’s solo in 2023
While Happy Jisoo 103% will likely give fans a good look at her journey toward that goal, it’s already giving a good look at the kind of person she is, even though only one video has been posted so far.
For one, the channel’s name alone shows how creative she really is. Jisoo has opened up in the past about her concerns regarding a solo debut, but the channel already has BLINKs fully confident in her creativity and her sheer talent!
Yet, the second thing the new channel shows about Jisoo is perhaps even more important. Jisoo has always been known as one of the most thoughtful and kind idols in K-Pop, but nothing proves it so well as her new YouTube: at the end of her first vlog, there is a message that says that all the profit made by Happy Jisoo 103% will be donated to people in need…

…something that has made BLINKs incredibly proud of her.
She may not have made her solo debut yet, but even with only a single vlog, Jisoo has proven she is the standard!
