Cristiano Ronaldo could be set to almost treble his net worth after his mega-money move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr.
After his bombshell exit from Manchester United earlier this month, the Saudi side confirmed Ronaldo’s move to the Middle East on Friday. The 37-year-old will reportedly earn £173million-per-year, for seven years, with Ronaldo set to take an advisory role when he hangs up his boots.
Ronaldo could pocket an eye-water £.13billion in the Middle East – which would almost treble his net worth. The 37-year-old is currently estimated to be worth $500million (£410m) – which will shoot up when he jets to Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo said: “I’m thrilled for the new experience in a different league and a different country. The vision that Al-Nassr has is very inspiring. I am very excited to join my team-mates, to help the team to achieve more success.”

While Al Nassr added: “History in the making. This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves.
“Welcome @Cristiano to your new home.”
Ronaldo eluded to his wealth in his interview with Piers Morgan last month. Morgan asked him if he had more pounds in the bank or Instagram followers, of which he has 508m.

He said: “It’s a good question. Probably similar. I don’t know. It’s good, it’s good to be still number one. Something that makes me happy too, if you see the Forbes magazine every year I’m top of the list so it’s not by coincidence too.”
