Online media outlet Entertainment Weekly recently covered an interesting story in an exclusive interview with actor Tom Holland (26 years old).
Tom Holland confessed: “I overcame my alcoholism. I gave up drinking for a year and four months.” Previously, the actor once said that he was always drunk during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Tom Holland, who is slated to return to the small screen through Apple TV+’s The Crowded Room , said: “Hard work in action movies is nothing new to me.” He added, “However, approaching the roles from a mental side made it difficult for me, and it took me a long time to recover and return to everyday life.”
Based on his experience, he continued: “ I hope viewers will have more respect and empathy for those struggling with mental health issues. I hope people will get a good education about mental health.”
Meanwhile, Tom Holland and Zendaya met in 2016 when they both took on the roles of Peter Parker and MJ in Spider-Man: Homecoming .
