Roberto Firmino might not have been the most high profile name when he joined Liverpool back in 2015 but he’s not wasted any time in becoming a star at Anfield – and could become a legend if they win the Champions League on Saturday.
Whether he’s slotting the ball home himself, or dishing out assists for Mo Salah and Sadio Mane, the nifty Brazilian has become one of the most dangerous attackers in the Premier League.
If you follow his Instagram, you’ll see the 26-year-old likes to mix up classic sports brands with designer labels.
If you want to match his look but don’t earn Premier League wages (very likely), we’ve picked out some high-street alternatives.
Iconic
Roberto Firmino living it up in Dsqaured2 shorts on a yacht in Ibiza with his wife Larissa Pereira
Firmino likes living his best life that’s for sure. And for a footballer, that means celebrating the end of the Prem season in style: living it up on a yacht in Ibiza with bikini-clad ladies.
The lady in question here is his wife, Larissa Pereira, who the footballer so often poses with in Instagram snaps whilst wearing matching outfits (like the Adidas hoodies shown above).
Together, the duo look ultra glam but it’s Firmino who steals the show in his hot pink swim shorts printed with the words ‘Icon’ across the derriere – which set him back £170.
True celebrity style, he teamed it with an unbuttoned shirt by Sik Silk, a baseball cap and a bit of bling.
- Swimshorts, £12.99 from New Look
- Two-tone trucker hat, £10 from Artsac Workshop at ASOS
- Short-sleeve shirt, £14.40 from Burton
You can buy Firmino’s exact floral-print Sik Silk shirt on ASOS currently for only £36 using the code EVERY20 – but hurry, the offer expires soon and there are only a few sizes left in stock.
Alternatively, you could save yourself some pennies and buy Burton’s £14.40 version instead for a similar look.
The new formal
Straight off the runway – Roberto Firmino’s £2,000 gold jacquard dinner jacket by Dolce & Gabbana
Only someone with serious conviction in their own taste could pull off a look this bold look – and we have to say, it’s a thumbs up from us.
Dolce & Gabbana’s £2,000 blazer is tailored from gold jacquard in a traditional dinner jacket shape and has black satin shawl lapels.
It was first spotted on the Spring 2017 show at Milan fashion week worn with black suit trousers, a white tux shirt and brogues.
But accessorising with rose-tinted aviator shades and a backwards cap in a new take on smart-casual, Firmino really makes this luxurious piece his own.
- Skinny jeans, £16.50 from Boohoo
- Jacquard and satin blazer, £75 from Burton at ASOS
Burton’s blazer is almost identical to Dolce & Gabbana’s with its gold jacquard weave and black satin shawl lapels – but it costs £1,925 less.
Wear it to formal events or tone it down with white skinny jeans.
- Tinted aviators, £14 from Topman – buy here
- Mesh-trimmed trucker cap, £4.50 from Boohoo – buy here
But of course, the key to emulating this look is in the accessories.
Do it Firmino style with pink gradient aviator sunglasses and a trucker cap turned backwards.
Sailor boy
Roberto Firmino wearing Balmain and Dolce & Gabbana to dinner for his mother’s birthday
Firmino looked a little more low-key when spotted leaving a restaurant in Liverpool last month. The footballer hired out one of his favourite restaurants Bem Brazil for his mother’s birthday – fitting, since the family are Brazilian.
He wore a Breton cardigan by Balmain appliqued with a nautical anchor and a pair of Dolce & Gabbana’s instantly recognisable customised trainers printed with the words ‘King of Love’… if he does say so himself.
But, just because he looked casual didn’t mean his outfit came cheap – it costs him a whopping £2,119.
- Striped cardigan, £39.41 from Nautica at Amazon
- Printed trainers, £19.99 from H&M
Rainy day dressing
Roberto Firmino papped in rainy Liverpool wearing a Dolce & Gabbana jacket and Giuseppe Zanotti trainers
The weather in England must be a bit of a shock compared to the hot climes in Brazil where the footballer grew up.
Still, Firmino knows how to brighten up a rainy day with designer togs.
Spotted out and about in dreary Liverpool, he was wearing an outfit worth a whopping £2,000.
He grounded his quilted Dolce & Gabbana jacket with a pair of velvet Giuseppe Zanotti high-top trainers with crystal-embellished straps.
- Tartan shirt, £12 from Boohoo
- High-top trainers, £30 from ASOS
ASOS have a similar pair of high top trainers for a fraction of the cost.
And Boohoo’s tartan shirt is almost identical to Firmino’s.
- Slim-leg jeans, £35 from River Island
- Pintstripe jacket, £15 from Boohoo
Invest in a pair of blue slim-leg jeans and throw on a navy jacket to get Firmino’s look.
Perfect for rainy days.
Best foot forward
Roberto Firmino wearing Alexander McQueen trainers and a Givenchy baseball jacket totalling £2,830
But frankly, we’re more interested in those designer clothes of his.
Here he wears a super spenny outfit: a pair of £590 platform trainers by Alexander Mcqueen and a £2,240 leather baseball jacket by Givenchy.
We hope he’s heading somewhere special in that get up.
- Leather trainers, £34.99 from H&M
- Shredded jeans, £16.50 from Boohoo
- Baseball jacket, £49.99 from H&M
- Can’t face spending two months wages on a Givenchy baseball jacket?
We’ve found a pretty similar style on H&M for £49.99 – so you could buy it 44 times over for the price of the designer version.
Camo-man
You can buy Roberto Firmino’s exact Sik Silk skinny jeans for only £15 in the sale
But we found a picture where Firmino is sporting something slightly more affordable.
And no, we don’t mean the car – sorry.
In this Instagram pic, the attacker is wearing a pair of £60 Sik Silk skinny jeans.
They are detailed with moto biker panels and slashed across the knees and thighs – perfectly positioned to show off his tattoos.
- Moto-panelled jeans, £15 from Boohoo
- Longline T-shirt, £8 from River Island
- Camo-print shirt, £28 from ASOS
We’ve spotted some identical high street pieces like these moto-panelled jeans from Boohoo and camo-print shirt from ASOS.
Leave only the top button done up to show on a tan longline T-shirt like Firmino.
