This is the incredible moment an artist reveals her rare talent as she draws hyper-realistic portraits of Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez using both hands simultaneously.

Rajacenna van Dam is a 25-year-old Dutch artist well-known for her celebrity portraits, which are almost indistinguishable from the original photographs.

Ms van Dam’s talent is made even more impressive by the fact that she can produce two drawings at the same time by sketching with both hands.

The footage of her, filmed earlier this year, shows her simultaneously draw two hyper-realistic portraits of pop stars Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift.

She moves both hands around different pieces of paper at the same time and seamlessly changes the colouring pencil she is using.

Ms van Dam said she likes to draw with both hands because ‘I can go faster and it’s also less boring’.

The artist, from Amsterdam, picked up pencil drawing at the age of 16, and despite not having received any formal training she soon became famous thanks to her rare talent.

In 2011, Justin Bieber requested a portrait which Ms van Dam had made of him, and he later called her talent ‘amazing’.

Some of Ms van Dam’s artworks take more than 500 hours to complete.

Ms van Dam’s YouTube channel has 8,370 subscribers and her most viewed video is one where she draws Lady Gaga.

It has a whopping 1.3million views.

While drawing has become her main profession, Ms van Dam said she is looking to expand her skills.

She said: ‘Recently I’m learning piano. But I’m not Mozart.’
