They earned it! Anne Hathaway and husband Adam Shulman decided to take a night for themselves on Thursday as they attended a Radiohead concert in Los Angeles
A pair of flat, strappy sandals in tan and a medium-sized leopard print waist purse added a bit of colour to the otherwise monotone outfit.
To ward off the chill, she also donned a light zip-up jacket decorated in small silver dots.
The Devil Wears Prada star opted for some pale crimson lipstick, blush and subtle eye-liner for her outing, while her brunette locks were parted in the middle and left to cascade down past her shoulders.
She apparently planned to stay hydrated during the concert, as she carried a bottled beverage in her right hand.

Husband Adam also kept things low-key in a charcoal grey shirt with the sleeves rolled up, lighter grey jeans and some black leather boots.
The couple appeared to be in good spirits as they walked together into the venue.

Of course the chandelier is in fact located in the Shrine Auditorium, where the concert took place, though the vast majority of her followers remained mystified.
Meanwhile, back on Wednesday, she posted a touching tribute to one of the movies that made her career, 2001’s The Princess Diaries.
Her post consisted of a hilarious GIF of her as Princess of Genovia Mia Thermopolis dancing frantically.

‘To all the fans who have loved Mia, Louie, Lily, Joe, Michael and, of course, Queen Clarisse, thank you from the bottom of my heart!’
She also remembered director Garry Marshall, who passed away back in July after battling a stroke and pneumonia.
‘And to Garry Marshall, thank you for making me a princess. I love you always my beloved friend and teacher, and I miss you every day xx’
