Chris Pratt filled in for Jimmy Kimmel on ABC’s late night show Monday as the talk show host takes time off following his baby son Billy’s successful heart surgery.
Pratt, 38, welcomed Australian star Margot Robbie, 27, to chat about her new movie I Tonya and couldn’t help but gush over the blonde bombshell.
‘She’s the hottest Australian import since the bloomin’ onion,’ he told the audience, referencing a menu item on the Australian-themed casual dining chain Outback Steakhouse.

The Guardians Of The Galaxy star went on to gush over the blonde bombshell during their interview while asking her about growing up on Australia’s Gold Coast.
After talking about the ‘creepy crawly things’ and snakes in the house, they got to chatting about how she started work at the age of 10 in a local restaurant.
‘I started out polishing cutlery then peeling potatoes,’ the actress said. ‘Then by 14, I was behind the bar.’
‘Is that legal in Australia?’ Pratt asked.
‘No, it’s not, Robbie replied. ‘I got away with it.’
Then late night sidekick Guillermo arrived with bottles of Australian beer which Robbie promptly opened without the aid of an bottle opener by using the cap on one bottle to remove the cap on another bottle.

Also on the show was country music star Chris Stapleton promoting his album The Room Vol. 2.
Right after the opening monologue, Stapleton came on stage to do a ‘wheel of cheesy duets’ skit with Pratt.
The two performed the Dirty Dancing hit (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life! which ended with the two trying to recreate the famous scene where Patrick Swayze lifts up Jennifer Grey and twirls her around above his head.
Thanks to some special effects, they managed to pull it off.

Also joining Pratt was his Jurassic World co-star Bryce Dallas Howard.
She was there to help introduce an exclusive clip from the new trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom that’s set to drop on Thursday.
In the end, they showed just a couple of seconds from the teaser showing pratt cuddling up to a large dinosaur.
Other guest hosts this week as Kimmel spends time with this family are Tracee Elis Ross, Neil Patrick Harris and Melissa McCarthy.

While she changed into a black suit for her TV appearance, Howard arrived wearing a colorful floral-themed skirt paired with a black top and a casual black jacket.

Meanwhile, Pratt confirmed to the audience during the show that Kimmel’s seven-month-old son Billy had successfully undergone a second scheduled heart surgery Monday morning.
The late night host is spending time with Billy and wife Molly and their three-year-old daughter Jane.
Billy underwent open-heart surgery shortly after his birth in April and Kimmel spoke about his son’s life-saving procedure in an emotional opening monologue on his show, describing it as ‘the longest three hours of my life.’
