While foraging for food with its herd, an adult buffalo was spotted by a group of lions. Seizing the opportunity, the lions immediately launched an attack. In a matter of moments, four lionesses overpowered the buffalo, and began to bite it.
When fiercely attacked, the buffalo did not stand still and wait for death, but fought back continuously. It even used its powerful horns to hook and attack a lioness on the flank. Although the opponent was injured and had to retreat, the buffalo ultimately could not survive the attack.
