Memphis Grizzlies‘ superstar Ja Morant was on a tear in Game 3 of the Los Angeles Lakers series.
The young point guard returned after picking up a hand injury and went off on his rivals.
Morant went off with 45 points against the Lakers, including 22 straight points in the fourth quarter.
This impressive run put Morant in a privileged position.
He matched LeBron James and Kobe Bryant as the only three players to score 22 straight points for a team in the last 25 postseasons.
Ja Morant is already an incredible player in the league, but he keeps showing that he’s meant to do big things.
The Grizzlies need to step up and help him in the upcoming game if they want to keep their chances alive.
Even though he played with a hand injury, Morant showed his best level again.
LeBron James praised him for his heroics
However, only Morant won’t be enough to beat the Lakers and the Grizzlies must be aware of that.
This could be a difficult challenge for the Grizzlies if they don’t win the next game.
Before the playoffs started, many believed the Lakers could pull off the upset.
As the days go by, that seems to be more likely.
Nevertheless, Morant will try everything to prevent that, or the Grizzlies will return home way earlier than expected.
