The second angle also gives viewers another look at her r.e.m. beauty make-up, as she stares directly into the camera.

Confessing she worked on the brand for two years ahead of its launch in November 2021, the company’s name – r.e.m. beauty – was inspired by her song R.E.M that appeared on her fourth studio album Sweetener (2018).
The first product ‘drop’ focused mainly on the eyes, because they are: ‘our main gateways to our dreams, our emotions, our everything,’ she said in a promotional push at the time.
Among the eye products created include fine-point eyeliner markers, which was used in her latest promo video on Instagram, as well as liquid eye shadows in a range of matte shades and glitters, and a mascara.
While discussing the type of look that inspired her to create r.e.m. beauty, Grande revealed to Allure that she has ‘always sort of gravitated towards the ’50s and ’60s and ’70s for glamour references,’
‘I’ve always pictured myself in a different time period. I’ve always wanted to wear that make-up, wear that hair, wear those outfits, be those performers,’ she added.
