Two women were driving down a road in Bali, when among them spotted a canine crouched over in a little doghouse in front of an empty villa.
They immediately stopped to check on the dog, and recognized just how bad of shape she remained in when they got closer. She looked malnourished and was missing out on most of her hair because of scabies, which caused her skin to come to be extremely scaly and painful.
They provided her food and water and needed to be very gentle so that she wouldn’t obtain spooked and run into close-by traffic. They spent the next hour getting her count on before they were able to get her. To their surprise, the pup was extremely calm once they raised her up. It’s like she recognized she was finally safe and that these ladies existed to help her.
They brought her to the veterinarian, where it was verified that she had scabies, and also an eye infection, which was thankfully easy to treat. After that, they brought her home so they could care for her in a comfortable environment while she healed both physically and mentally. They chose to call this wonderful girl Lucy. Lucy’s life before now is a mystery, but one thing is for certain– the days and years that would certainly follow will lastly be every little thing she deserves and more.
Throughout her recovery, she had many “firsts,” including visiting the beach and walking on grass. Lucy broke out of her shell and became very friendly and affectionate. She loves cuddles and enjoys playing with other canines. A month later, Lucy finally located a forever house with a loving couple named Matt and Brianna from Washington D.C.
” I think provided everything that she’s been through, the fact that she’s so sweet and so loving and trusting of us is just amazing,” Brianna Said.
Lucy settled right into her brand-new home extremely quickly and bonded immediately with her new parents. She is living the life and is ruined every day. Her change is definitely incredible. Look for yourself in the video clip below, and go here to follow her adventures on Instagram.
