Kevin De Bruyne fashion: He is a fan of luxury brands like Christian Louboutin, Givenchy and Balmain

A fan of luxury labels like Christian Louboutin, Givenchy and Balmain, Kevin De Bruyne has been known to splash up to £1660 on a casual jeans and sweatshirt combo

As well as becoming one of the classiest midfielders in the English top flight, the talented Belgian has started wearing some top-tier clothing off the pitch.

Whether it’s classic luxury labels like Louboutin, Givenchy and Balmain or cool streetwear brand’s like Off-White and Heron Preston, De Bruyne certainly likes to splash the cash.

And the ace playmaker has been known to drop up to £1,660 on just a casual jeans and sweatshirt combo.

Luckily, we’ve found some high-street alternatives that you can pick up for much less if you want to match De Bruyne’s style.

It seems football isn’t the only sport De Bruyne is into. In January, the Belgium national was spotted at an NBA game in London.

Eden Hazard and Sir Alex Ferguson were also seen at the star-studded Boston Celtics Versus Philadelphia event at the 02.

De Bruyne posed for a photo with a tracksuit-clad Hazard but our eyes were on his designer outfit.

The Man City player was wearing a hoodie by cool new brand Heron Preston and a pair of the coveted Nike X Off White Air Max 97 trainers.

These shoes sold out in seconds and now go for up to £400 on eBay, but we’ve found a pair for £294.

  • Printed hoodie, £35 from Jack & Jones at River Island
  • Cortez trainers, £64.99 from Nike at Offspring

Still, that’s seriously pricey…so we’ve sourced some similar Nike trainers for a fraction of the cost.

The white leather Nike Cortez have a black swooshing tick and will set you back a mere £64.99.

While a Jack & Jones printed hoodie from River Island is equally as effective as Heron Preston’s.

Back in October, Kevin De Bruyne took a tour of the french champagne house La Maison Cattier, courtesy of Armand de Brignac.

The midfielder visited with his wife Michele Lacroix and a group of pals, including his agent Patrick de Koster and pal, retired French footballer, Cédric Fauré.

No doubt he asked them to take this snap of his back, which he uploaded to Instagram.

We’re guessing it was because he wanted to show off his camo-print parka – the Haculla piece is painted with an abstract illustration and cost him £675.

  • Ripped skinny jeans, £45 from River Island
  • Camo-print parka, £49.99 from H&M

We’ve found a similar style on H&M for £49.99.

Pair it with ripped skinny jeans and you’ve got De Bruyne’s look for under £100.

All-black-everything

De Bruyne is often joined at the hip with wife Michele Lacroix and sometimes they even co-ordinate their outfits.

Recently they were seen in matching all-black looks.

Simple though it may be, the Man City star’s outfit set him back £1,400.

His Givenchy sweatshirt, printed with a hybrid rooster monkey design, cost £700 and his leather Christian Louboutin plimsolls, edged with silver studs, cost just as much.

  • Printed sweatshirt, £29.99 from Amazon
  • Studded suede slip-on shoes, £62.18 at Milanoo

We’ve found a similar sweatshirt on Amazon for £670 less.

Milanoo’s shoes are made from black suede and studded with spikes – they’re the spitting image of De Bruyne’s £700 pair.

International man

Born in Belgium, De Bruyne isn’t afraid to wear his heart and heritage on his sleeve.

He showed his support for international living with his Hypland hoodie.

Made from grey jersey, it’s embroidered down the sleeves with different flag patches.

The sold out top cost him only £70…. but sometimes the footballer reps lower-end brands too.

  • Embroidered hoodie, £49.99 from Good for Nothing at Foot Asylum
  • Skinny jeans, £16.50 from Boohoo
  • Black plimsolls, £60 from Fred Perry at ASOS

Or, shop Good For Nothing’s new collection for a lot of very similar pieces at even better prices.

If you fancy navy rather than grey, this £49.99 hoodie is almost identical to the Hypland version.

Real eyes

When De Bruyne’s heads out in the evening, he normally likes to be comfortable.

Often, he wears a uniform of ripped jeans and a T-shirt, which sounds rather simple.

But don’t be fooled, this simple attire doesn’t come cheap.

Printed with the words ‘Real Eyes. Realize real lies’, the midfielder’s Givenchy top cost him a whopping £345.

  • Printed T-shirt, £12 from Jack & Jones at ASOS
  • Zip-up hoodie, £7.50 from Boohoo

We’ve found a T-shirt with a similar typeface from Jack & Jones for only £12, so you could buy 28 of them for the price of De Bruyne’s Givenchy effort.

Layer it under a zipped hoodie and you’ve absolutely nailed the look with cash to spare.

American appreciation

Out and about again with his wife, De Bruyne was papped walking out of the celebrity hot spot San Carlo restaurant in Manchester.

The pair weren’t exactly dressed up, but their togs certainly cost a considerable amount.

Michele Lacroix was clutching a Louis Vuitton cross-body bag and her husband was wearing an outfit worth £1,660.

His £1,060 Balmain jeans are panelled with biker patches and his Givenchy sweatshirt printed with a monochrome American flag.

  • Skinny biker jeans, £16.50 from Boohoo
  • American Flag sweatshirt, £34 from Amazon

Boohoo’s biker jeans are almost identical, but cost only £16.50.

Unbelievably, that’s 64 pairs of the high street jeans for the price of De Bruyne’s Balmain ones.

On Amazon, we found a very patriotic American Flag sweatshirt for just £34 too.
