UFO hunters are in a frenzy over a bizarre video clip that appears to show a man being plucked from the face of the planet in a flash of light. Could this be the world’s first definitive proof of an alien abduction… or is it just a “weird glitch” with the camera?
Alien abductions are a common thread among tales and conspiracies of extraterrestrials visiting our planet. Self-professed abductees recall being sucked into a spaceship through a beam of light where they were tortured or examined by mysterious alien figures. Although medical experts dismiss these stories as the effects of sleep paralysis or false memory syndrome, one UFO hunter believes he has found the ultimate evidence of a so-called close encounter.
Scott Waring, a popular conspiracy theorist and self-titled ET expert, has shared with his fans bizarre footage of a supposed alien abduction.
The video appears to show a man leaving through the front door of a property in Porter, Texas, before vanishing into thin air.
A timestamp in the video’s lower-right corner dates the video to the early evening hours of December 26, 2019, CST – Central Time in North America.
A Ring.com logo in the upper left-hand corner shows the video was filmed by a doorbell security camera.
You can see the man leave through the front and walk past what appear to be Christmas decorations and lights.
He then pauses mid-stride for about a second before vanishing from sight.
In his stead, a flash of light appears to trail off into the night sky.
So, does this video prove aliens are zipping around the planet, abducting people for their sick experiments? Not necessarily, if at all.
According to Mr Waring, there are two possibilities – the man in the video was abducted or he himself is an alien.
The first theory is discounted straight off the bat, by the ver man in the video who shared the clip with Mr Waring.
The UFO hunter claims to have received the clip via email, with the following message: “This morning, my fiance and I were looking through our videos recorded by Ring and we found a weird glitch.
“She said, ‘Look Ring has you abducted by aliens or you just been part of the rapture!’ Either way, it was really funny.”
It is also worth pointing out Ring cameras do not film around the clock but are instead activated by movement.
This bit of information explains why the man in the video appears to freeze before disappearing – he simply moved out of the range of the camera’s sensors.
So the alien abduction theory holds no water since the man in the video is in perfectly good health. But what about Mr Waring’s other claim?
He said: “Throughout history, there have been stories handed down through the ages about gods and mortals creating children on Earth.
“Well… they were not gods, but aliens with god-like powers. This person in the video… he is such an alien.
This theory, however, seems even more unlikely as there is absolutely no credible evidence to support the claim extraterrestrials are here among us.
Mr Waring shared the nine-second clip to his blog UFOSightingsDaily as well as his YouTube channel, where it was both praised and dissected by fellow ET enthusiasts.
One person noted: “The one second pause before he supposedly turns into a light orb and flies away… highly suspect. I’m a believer. Just not in this one.”
Another person accused the video of being doctored, while a third person joked: “Violently obvious that he just flew away guys!”
