While some expectant parents are eager to find out the gender of their unborn child, others, like this Georgian mother, prefer to be surprised when the baby is delivered. The mother of a three-year-old daughter is Dara Crouch, 29. As a nurse, she made the decision to conceal the gender of her second kid. When a baby boy was delivered, she was surprised. Fortunately, a photographer caught the gorgeous look.
“I just knew I was having a girl,” Dara told in an interview. She thought it would be impossible to have a boy since no one on her mother’s side of the family had given birth to a son in 50 years. She said she felt “ℎ more than anything.”
Ker-Fox, a photographer and a family friend of Dara, has taken over 100 birth photos since 2011. Speaking of Dara’s reaction, she said, “I’ve seen surprises, but Dara had by far the most genuine reaction”
“Five minutes before it was time to start pushing, the couple again started thinking about the possibility of a boy,” she said.
She also recalled how Dara responded the moment the midwife told her it was a boy: “Oh my gosh! It’s a boy; I can’t believe it’s a boy!”
Dara expressed how she feels at work and when she gives birth as a nurse: “As a nurse, you get the emotions going on in the room… When you’ve been caring for someone for more than 12 hours, you tend to bond a lot. But nothing compares to the thrill I had with Liam.”
Dara was happy and peaceful throughout her labor and birth.
