Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock in the world of wrestling, is one of the most beloved WWE stars in the world. Following in his father’s footsteps, The Rock started his wrestling career in 1996 as Rocky Maivia. With his brilliant performance in the ring, he captivated thousands of fans. Although he has officially retired from WWE, his fans continue to hope to see his return to the ring.

During her recent interview with Insider, WWE star Tamina, Johnson’s cousin, shared that everyone wants to see him return.
She said, “All of us, including his mama, want him to come back. I feel like everybody wants him to return.” His father, Rocky Johnson, and grandfather, Peter Maivia, have been associated with wrestling. While Johnson describes his relationship with his father as “complicated,” he acknowledges how everything he did turn out to be helpful for him.

His father also trained him after he decided to make a career in professional wrestling. The Jungle Cruise star’s first ring name, Rocky Maivia, was also a tribute to his father and grandfather. And the Chief Content Officer of WWE has also talked about The Rock’s possible appearance in the upcoming WrestleMania.

Triple H Talks About The Rock’s Return
Triple H took over Vince McMahon as the creative head of the WWE in 2022. During his interview with BT Sport, he opened up about a possible return of Dwayne Johnson during the 2023 WrestleMania. He shared a conversation he had with the Fast & Furious star and explained how being in a WWE ring gives him an adrenaline rush like nothing else.

“I know The Rock wants to feel that adrenaline rush one more time,” Triple H shared. Although Dwayne Johnson has retired from wrestling, he can still make a guest appearance during the upcoming wrestling event. However, the Jumanji star has not confirmed anything about his return yet.
But considering that the event would be taking place in the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, the city full of his fans, Dwayne Johnson could make his much-awaited return at the 39th annual WrestleMania.
