BLACKPINK has been taking over the globe during their world tour and has already successfully completed the North American and European leg of their BORN PINK tour.

The members are currently on a short break in the Asian leg of their tour and have mostly been keeping it low-key, but even with their limited public appearances as they spend time off-stage, the global girl group continues to make headlines and trend worldwide.
Recently, they were trending due to praise earned from none other than American R&B legend Usher.

The talented singer was spotted in the audience of BLACKPINK’s second Atlanta, Georgia, show on their BORN PINK tour by eagle-eyed netizens.
During the group’s first Atlanta show, Jennie hummed Usher’s hit song “Oh Yeah,” causing netizens to hilariously claim she summoned the R&B crooner to their show.

Usher recently had an interview with GQ Magazine, in which he opened up about his current Las Vegas residency, his three-decade-long career, and talked about the night he attended BLACKPINK’s concert.
Usher revealed to GQ that his two sons “begged him to take them to a concert,” which ended up being BLACKPINK’s sold-out show.

The veteran singer was immediately impressed and found inspiration in the show’s high-quality production.

As Usher made plans for his Vegas residency, he took mental notes, wanting to “maintain a similar standard of excellence, one he doesn’t see as often anymore.“
