Bid adieu to the traditional solid manicure and welcome the season’s wild and vibrant nail styles!
From updated french manicures to quirky nail art like ying yangs and cow print, go bold with your manicure and try out some of these fabulous new designs. As someone who got a french manicure every 2 weeks from 4th grade through high school, I have to say I’m beyond thrilled to see the return of the classic style – and with so many fun twists! My current favorite is definitely the flower trend, and I am loving the feminine vibes paired with the lavender.
The best part about this season’s nail trend is you can literally do ANYTHING with your nails and look chic. The bolder the better. Swirls? Go for it. Splattered paint? Why not. Butterflies and rainbows? Awesome. Get creative and have fun with it!
During quarantine, I was a huge fan of press-on nails since we couldn’t go to the salon (read all about it here), so if you’re interested in trying out some of these new trends without the 1-2 commitment of a manicure, check out some of our favorite press-on nails below to get the look and head over to our post for tips on how to apply them and last all week!
FRENCH MANICURE WITH A TWIST
Almond nails, dainty swirls, and geometric outlines give an updated twist on this oh-so-classic nail design.
THE MICRO MANICURE
Want the minimalist look with a subtle color pop? Try the micro manicure
COLORED TIPS
I am obsessed with colored tips this season! I tried the pink colorblock mani for my trip to 30A and it was so fun. If you’re ever wanted a bold nail color but like to keep it subtle, this trend is for you.
FLOWERS
Is there anything more feminine than floral nails? I think not. I am loving the endless floral styles this season, and the trend is simple enough to recreate at home!
MULTICOLORED NAILS
Nothing will brighten your mood like a manicure with this many color pops!
RHINESTONES
Hello, bling! This trend takes me back to middle school, and I am all for it! I definitely got this embellished french manicure too many times to count growing up, and I can’t wait to try it again!
SWIRLS
This trend has been flooding our news feeds, and it is an absolute must-try this season. I love the subtle look of the nude and white nails for an everyday look.
90s INSPIRED NAILS
Nothing takes us back to the 90s quite like smiley faces, ying yangs, and peace signs – and this pastel green manicure is ultra swoon-worthy!
