The Moon-A-Chalet was built in the late 1960s and fully renovated in 2020. Maintaining the original character of the chalet home was the most important while adding the conveniences that elevate the chalet to a modern escape. Rosie located outside in the rear of the chalet was a vision of one of the earlier owners. Sleeping one evening, the artist dreamt of handcrafting a stagecoach for the enjoyment of her granddaughter, Rosie. After jokingly sharing with her husband, she was bound to see the vision come to fruition. Based on a Studebaker chassis, the artist began sourcing her supplies and slowly watched the dream chalet come to be in the backyard.
