The beginnings of the 37th annual Golden Disc Awards in Thailand kicked off with a bit of a mystery.
BTS’s J-Hope was initially announced as part of the artist line-up by the award show, but a lack of posts by BIGHIT MUSIC and J-Hope confirming the attendance left many wondering if the ceremony was taking advantage of BTS and J-Hope’s celebrity to increase ticket sales and attendance.
While J-Hope was not a performer at the event, he was in attendance, and many were relieved before the ceremony to see that J-Hope posted an Instagram story from his flight to Thailand, confirming he was on the way.
J-Hope charmed everyone in attendance with his humble and fun-loving personality and was spotted dancing and having a good time in the audience.
As expected, BTS took home multiple awards at the 37th Golden Disc Awards and J-Hope also earned the “Thai Fan Support With BAOJI” award. J-Hope happily accepted each while giving his fellow members a shout out.
There was one message J-Hope left with ARMYs during his speech that had many feeling emotional.

During his acceptance speech, J-Hope gave ARMYs an update on his fellow members and shared that they had all gathered together for the first time in a while, with the exception of Jin, who is currently in the military, and had drinks.
He also added that he couldn’t wait for all seven members to be back on stage together again, accepting the award as a group.
His speech made ARMYs proud and emotional, sharing that they couldn’t wait for an OT7 return but were proud and fully supportive of each member’s accomplishments in the meantime.
