A brand-new still from the much-awaited fourth John Wick movie has been made public.
The most renowned hitman in the world is seen in the most recent USA Today photo wearing his trademark black suit. In this chapter, Wick (Keanu Reeves) once again battles formidable foes with powerful friends from around the world.
Similar to the first three movies, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum will see the retired hitman forced back into the criminal underworld to battle the High Table, especially after he was spotted working together with Bowery King, a notorious crime boss played by Laurence Fishburne, to bring down the syndicate. However, it was previously reported that the renowned assassin will contend with a fresh threat that will transform former allies into adversaries; hence, it’s possible that Wick could face off against not just one, but two threats.
On November 10, 2022, the full-length trailer was released. It gives viewers a glimpse of the foes to come as well as details of action-packed scenarios, including a shooting scene while riding a horse.
Old cast members and a lot of new ones will join John Wick: Chapter 4 for the furious action-packed movie. The roles played by Lance Reddick and Ian McShane in the earlier movies will be reprised. McShane portrays Winston, proprietor of the Continental Hotel, and Reddick portrays Charon, the front desk agent. Scott Adkins, Donnie Yen, Clancy Brown, and Marko Zaror are some of the fresh faces. Additionally, Bill Skarsgard will join the cast as a High Table member. For the fourth edition of the franchise, Chad Stahelski, who helmed the first three films in the series, collaborated with Erica Lee and Basil Iwanyk as producer and director through the production companies Summit Entertainment and Thunder Road Pictures. The script’s authors are Michael Finch and Shay Hatten.
There are already plans for Chapter 5 and a spinoff movie, Ballerina, starring Ana de Armas, with both Reeves and McShane scheduled to reprise their roles, so the John Wick franchise won’t finish with Chapter 4. Additionally, this year will see the premiere of the limited series The Continental. The Continental is based in the same world as John Wick.
