CASEMIRO scored a wonder-volley as Manchester United defeated Bournemouth 1-0!
But the Red Devils will still need a point from their final two games after Liverpool’s LATE equaliser against Aston Villa.
- Manchester United picked up a very important Premier League win over Bournemouth at Dean Court and are only one point away from Champions League qualification.
Casemiro netted the winner, which brings United even closer to a top-four finish.
The Red Devils opened the scoring after just nine minutes when Christian Eriksen lobbed the ball over the Cherries’ defence from the edge of the box.
Marcos Senesi produced an accidental assist as his deflection set Casemiro up for a scintillating overhead volley that gave Neto absolutely no chance.

Ten Hag on De Gea
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag praised David de Gea as a “very good goalkeeper” but insists his golden glove award also goes down to the team.
Ten Hag told MUTV: “The whole midfield played brilliant this afternoon.
“We coach a lot of movement behind and it’s a great run from Casemiro and a great touch from [Christian] Eriksen. The finish is brilliant, of course.
“First of all, it’s telling something about the team [golden glove award], don’t forget that, because we defend with 11.
“We play with a good plan, but of course, we have a very good goalkeeper and he saved a lot of great opportunities today.”

Ten Hag reacts
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag insists he doesn’t focus on his top-four rivals and is instead fully concentrated on how his team performs in the last two games of the season.
Ten Hag told Match of the Day: “The only criticism is we didn’t kill off the game, we had to produce that second goal but that’s the way this team are. It is not easy scoring goals.
“It was a great goal from Casemiro. We pinned them back, didn’t let them breathe in the first 25 minutes.
“David de Gea made a mistake a few weeks ago but everyone can make mistakes. We defend with 11, that’s why we have so many clean sheets. David made some great saves.
“I don’t care what happens in Liverpool, it’s about us. We have to do the job.”

Clean sheet record
It’s official, Manchester United star David de Gea is the Premier League’s golden glove winner this season.
De Gea has kept his net intact 17 times this term, and could make it 19 with two more matches to go.
Liverpool’s Alisson is second with 14 and is thus unable to catch up to the Spain international.
A major achievement for De Gea, who has undergone quite a turbulent campaign.
How Man Utd seal Top 4
Manchester United now need only one point to seal a top-four finish in the Premier League.
United take on Chelsea and Fulham, both of which have nothing to play for, at home in their next two matches.
The Red Devils face the Blues on Thursday and the Cottagers next Sunday in their bid to return to the Champions League.
This comes after Liverpool dropped two points against Aston Villa.
