Designed by Louis Vuitton director Virgil Abloh, the Paris Saint-Germain forward took to Instagram to wax lyrical over the bright orange boots.

Only a limited amount of boots will be available to be bought on the Nike website from March 31
Posting a picture of himself holding the new Nike Mercurial Vapor 360 x Virgil Abloh boots, Mbappe said: “OMG. Can’t wait to wear them on the pitch.
“Thanks to the one & only @virgilabloh for the amazing gift. #BornMercurial @nikefootball.”
Abloh, who was appointed as artistic director for the Louis Vuitton’s men’s wear line this month, claimed he wanted to design a boot to help the wearer recognise where he should strike the ball.
The 37-year-old told Nike’s website: “For this Mercurial, I was interested in bridging the gap between foot and eye coordination. All the dots on the boot represent an optimal place to strike the ball.”

The 19-year-old will don the boots this Saturday when PSG face Monaco in the Coupe de la Ligue final
Virgil Abloh wanted to design boots that stood out to the opposition
While the Off-White founded also stated he wanted a vivid colour that would leave an impression on the opponent.
Abloh added: “In my approach, I thought about what it would be like if I saw someone wearing the boot.
“Design is a powerful tool, as it communicates energy and a message, and it offers a unique capacity to make someone do a double take on-pitch — I feel like it would be intimidating to see this boot.”
Mbappe is expected to don the boots this Saturday when he faces his former side Monaco in the Coupe de la Ligue final.
The 19-year-old could win his first piece of silverware with Les Parisiens should he help his team-mates beat Leonardo Jardim’s side.
Mbappe joined on an initial loan-deal last summer, and has thrived under Unai Emery after forging a deadly partnership with Neymar and Edinson Cavani.
And he is expected to start for Didier Deschamps French side in the World Cup in Russia after netting 19 goals in all competitions this season, as well as providing 14 assists.
