Kylian Mbappe attends Victor Wembanyama’s FINAL regular season game with Metropolitans 92, as projected No. 1 pick in NBA Draft pours in 22 points in front of PSG star

PSG star Kylian Mbappe was in attendance Tuesday to cheer on fellow Frenchman Victor Wembanyama, as the projected No. 1 pick in next month’s NBA Draft played his final regular season contest for Metropolitans 92.

In front of the forward, who has 26 league goals this year, Wembanyama put on a show, tallying 22 points, nine rebounds and two blocks as his team won 93-85 vs. Paris Basketball.

After Mets 92 finished second in the league, the 7-foot-5 phenom will participate in the LNB Pro A playoffs before moving stateside to start his NBA career.

The 19-year-old is widely expected to be selected with the first overall pick, with the only question being who will be in the driver’s seat to pick the generational talent.

That question will be answered Tuesday night during the NBA Draft lottery in Chicago.

By the numbers, Wembanyama has the best chance of ending up with the Pistons, Rockets or Spurs, as each team has a 14 percent of landing the No. 1 pick.

Also in strong contention are the Hornets (12.5 percent) and Portland (10.5 percent).

Entering Tuesday’s game, Wembanyama had averaged 21.6 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists on 46.8 percent shooting from the field.

Beyond the numbers, though, the teenager has displayed a scoring touch and ballhandling ability wholly uncommon for someone his size.

Regardless of who wins the lottery, Wembanyama will hear his name called – likely first – on June 22nd when the NBA Draft is held.

The NBA Draft lottery is set for 8PM ET on Tuesday night.
