My Retirement ! One of our Favorite Log Cabin To Live After Retirement

The Winter Camp Cabin is an excellent example of what a traditional log cabin looks like. This log cabin is reminiscent of the log homes European settlers built when they first arrived in the Americas. The Swedish brought the idea and design from Sweden to create these incredible homes. They made good use everything around them, so they chose trees to build their homes. Trees are easy to study and make sturdy houses that can last a very long time. They are easy to find in the North. The log home and cabin industry has been steadily growing over the years. There are now companies like eLog Homes that offer prefabricated log home kits.

The Winter Camp Cabin log home looks great, is very simple, and has all the space that a small group would require. The entire cabin measures 960 sq. ft. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All of it is spread over the main floor. This log cabin is a great example of the traditional log cabin. Instead of being cut into different shapes or sizes, the logs are left rounded. They are hand-peeled and then stacked on top of each other. The notches in the corners allow them to stack perfectly and create strong corners. The house boasts a stunning wrap around porch and front deck measuring 328 square foot. This would create a wonderful outdoor space on the cabin that can be used to entertain or relax outside. The nice-sized window that is incorporated into the ceiling would let in so much natural light through the space’s angled roof. The home has a lot of windows, which creates a pleasant atmosphere.

eLog Homes has a fantastic website that showcases the cabins they prefabricate and distribute across North America. They use seasoned Eastern White Pine logs and then air dry them. All of their logs are handcrafted. Because of its superior quality and consistency, Eastern White Pine is their preferred log. They are stable and have high insulation values. Log homes can only be built from certain trees. Some trees are too bendy and weak to be used for building.

eLog Homes offers a variety of floor plans and layouts for prefabricated log homes and cabins. Each home is unique and beautiful, and each one is unique. They care about the quality of the logs used in their building projects and will do everything possible to find the best materials. You can be sure that the logs they produce will be of the highest quality because they do all the work by hand. They know that purchasing a log house is one of the most significant purchases you will make in your lifetime. They work with you every step of it.
