WITH the way his team played during the Euro 2016 championships is it any wonder footballer Wayne Rooney likes a drink?
The £250,000-a-week England player was almost man overboard after a boozy afternoon on his luxury yacht led him to a spectacular tumble.

Rooney sailed out to the crystal blue sea in Formentera this week and appears to have been drowning his sorrows if these photos are anything to go by.
And it seems it’s not just in football that he is proving to be an out and out failure.

For the 30-year-old could barely stay on his super expensive feet as he boozed up a storm along with his pals and his missus Coleen.
England captain Rooney booked the yacht on Sunday — the day before his team’s knockout match with Iceland.
Earlier on Wednesday, he was spotted flying out on budget airline Jet2, which sells flights to Ibiza for just £88, with wife Coleen.

Nevertheless in these photos both Wayne and Coleen appear to be nonplussed about England’s knock out from the competition.
And they look as if they’re having a whale of a time soaking up the sun while enjoying the odd libation.

The Four Friends vessel costs £120k-a-week to rent and it seems the couples on board were making the most of their splash the cash trip.
The rental website says: “The yacht is able to accommodate 6-8 guests in three en suite double cabins, plus the option of a fold down double bed in a day cabin ideally suited to children or nanny.
“The day cabin is also used a massage room.

“Each cabin is equipped with TV, DVD player and sound system, the master cabin offering large flat screen TV.”
The couple’s three children Kai, Kit and Klay do not appear to have been brought along on this trip as their famous parents opt for some respite on the yacht that can reach speeds of up to 40 knots – just below 50 mph.

Rooney captained England’s flops as they crashed out after a humiliating defeat to cod farming minnow nation Iceland.
It is not the first time Rooney has flown to the Balearic Island.
In 2008, the Manchester United captain spent a wild four days on the party island of Ibiza for his stag do.

At the tender age of 22 he jetted in with 16 family members and friends but was left disappointed after he was unable to get a huge supply of his then favourite drink, alcopop WKD Blue.
