Benzema has not been included in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

Karim Benzema has been left out of Real Madrid’s squad for their LaLiga clash with Real Sociedad on Tuesday.

Real Madrid have not released any injury news on Benzema and it appears that head coach Carlo Ancelotti doesn’t want to risk the striker ahead of the upcoming Copa del Rey final against Osasuna and the Champions League first-leg semi-final against Manchester City.

The Italian coach has therefore decided to rest Benzema, who scored three hat-tricks for Los Blancos in the month of April.

The Frenchman has had his own injury issues this season but has bounced back with some fine performances in 2023.
