Ex-Schalke winger claims he passed his medical during the evening and is set to put pen to paper on a five-year contract
MANCHESTER CITY are set to unveil Schalke winger Leroy Sane as their latest signing on Tuesday.
Pep Guardiola is continuing his Etihad revolution by bringing the German flyer to Manchester in a £37million deal.

And Sergio Aguero has celebrated the latest addition to the squad by taking the youngster out for dinner at Manchester’s plush San Carlo restaurant.
The pair were seen leaving the restaurant – which claims their ‘dishes are designed to engage all your senses’ – together on Monday evening following Sane’s medical.
The German ace, 20, was part of his national squad for this summer’s Euro 2016 tournament in France.

During the evening’s proceedings, it is claimed Sane was asked whether he had passed his medical and signed for Pep’s City, to which he claimed: “Yes.”
His Bundesliga club Schalke wanted £41.5m for him earlier this summer, but caved following weeks of negotiations after Sane made it clear that he wanted to sign up to the Pep-olution.
The big-money deal includes various add-ons, which could potentially see Schalke get close to the price they wanted — if he proves to be a big success at the Etihad.

Guardiola of course has had plenty of opportunities to see Sane in action, as their pair were in the German top flight together during the Spanish boss’ days as Bayern Munich chief.
And in February this year, Pep said of Sane: “Leroy is a huge talent and I can only congratulate Germany on having a talent like him.”
Tip of the cap to you Mr Guardiola, he’s Manchester City’s now…
