A Nigerian woman, Oluwakemi Funmilayo Aminu and her husband Mark Imudia Uduehi celebrated their set of quintuplets’ first birthday recently.
The children were reportedly born in Abuja when Uduehi, from Ekpoma in Esan West Local Government Area, was unemployed and his wife worked for the Nigerian Population Commission Abuja.
Speaking to reporters at the time of their birth a year ago, Uduehi expressed his happiness over the arrival of their kids and made a plea for help from the government and well-meaning Nigerians.
He expressed his joy and gratitude to God for blessing them with these healthy children, but he acknowledged that this came with a great deal of responsibility because raising even one child is not simple. However, he is pleading with the government, well-meaning Nigerians, and business organizations to assist the family in rearing the kids.
On her end, Mrs. Oluwakemi expressed her happiness for the safe ᴅᴇʟɪᴠᴇʀʏ and added that she gave birth naturally.
She claimed that I work as a civil worker for the Nigerian Population Commission in Abuja and that her husband is now looking for employment. Because it’s all we can afford, they both reside in a one-bedroom apartment in Lugbe.
But now that God has given us five children, they will undoubtedly require a larger apartment and money to suit their demands, particularly for the purchase of baby food and clothing. Happy their quintuplets’ first birthday!
Uduehi was given a position at the Nigeria Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI), Abuja, by the federal government. In accordance with the Federal Integrated Staff Housing (FISH) Scheme, the couple was also allocated a three-bedroom cottage in one of the communities.
