‘My body, my f*****g choice’: Billie Eilish SLAMS Texas abortion law in on-stage rant at Austin City Limits Festival and reveals she planned on cancelling her appearance to ‘punish the state’

Billie Eilish put on a high-energy performance at the Austin City Limits Festival on Saturday night, during which she made a resounding political statement.

The singer, 19, used the big stage to lend her support to women’s right to choose by lashing out at the Texas abortion law – legislation that prohibits abortions in the state as early as six weeks, before some women know they are pregnant.

The words ‘Bans Off Our Bodies’ flashed on the screen behind her as the pop star, born Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell, took a moment to address the crowd, saying: ‘I’m sick and tired of old men. Shut the f*** up about our bodies.’

She went on to reveal that she debated cancelling the appearance due to the legislation but stuck to the commitment for her fans in the area, as she insisted they ‘are the f**king victims’ of the shocking legal change.

The law also allows citizens to sue providers or anyone helping get an abortion.

She professed: ‘When they made that s*** a law, I almost didn’t want to do the show, because I wanted to punish this f*****g place for allowing that to happen here…

‘But then, I remembered that it’s you guys that are the f*****g victims, and you deserve everything in the world. We need to tell them to shut the f*** up.’

She then raised her middle finger up and shouted: ‘My body, my f*****g choice!’

Continuing her political tangent, Billie also called out climate change deniers, saying, ‘If you don’t think global warming exists, you’re a f*****g loser.’

The songstress is just one of many musical artists who had harsh and searing words about the Texas abortion law, which was signed into law by Republican Governor Greg Abbott in May, according to the publication, Austin360.

The legislation prohibits abortions in Texas as early as six weeks — before some women know they are pregnant — while it opens the door for almost any private citizen to sue abortion providers and others, as reported by The Texas Tribune.

Almost canceled: The pop star revealed she almost pulled out of the Austin City Limits Festival show out of protest of the Texas abortion ban, adding, 'But then, I remembered that it's you guys that are the f*****g victims, and you deserve everything in the world'

Gov. Abbott said in a signing ceremony: ‘Our creator endowed us with the right to life and yet millions of children lose their right to life every year because of abortion’.

He added that the Legislature ‘worked together on a bipartisan basis to pass a bill’… that ensures that the life of every unborn child who has a heartbeat will be saved from the ravages of abortion.’

Pregnant Oscar-winner Lawrence, 31, stood at Schumer’s side while holding onto a handwritten poster with a pro-choice slogan in an Instagram post from the comedian, 40.

The Trainwreck star, who underwent a hysterectomy earlier this year, captioned the post saying: ‘I don’t have a uterus and she is pregnant but we out here @womensmarch @plannedparenthood #rallyforabortionjustice.’
