We already know Selena Gomez has been really busy these days. She’s currently starring in Hulu’s breakout murder mystery meets comedy series, Only Murders in the Building, preparing for the third season of her HBO Max show Selena + Chef, oh and killing it with her Rare Beauty makeup line. So with all that on her plate, has she made time for dating? While rumors of her possibly being boo’ed up with her Chris Evans are swirling, it seems like Selena is simply enjoying the single life.

What’s new in Selena Gomez’s dating life?

For weeks, fans have been speculating that Selena Gomez and Captain America, Chris Evans, are a thing, but not so fast. Days after photos of Selena and Chris leaving the same studio and the same restaurant, Elle dispelled the rumors finding proof that the pics were taken at different times and in different years. One of the pics of Chris used to fuel the original rumors taken during summer 2020, while the other was snapped in 2013.

Reports of a possible love connection first surfaced after Chris followed Selena on Instagram. While the social media shoutout doesn’t mean they’re heading down the aisle, that does raise some suspicion. Especially considering Selena admitted to having a crush on the superhero actor in 2015.

According to E! News, Selena said “I kind of have a crush on Chris Evans. Isn’t he Cute,” during an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.

Did Selena Gomez really date OMITB star, Aaron Dominguez?

Rumors surfaced of a possible fling between Selena and Aaron after photos of them cozying up to one another were leaked online. Despite the seemingly incriminating pics, both co-stars shut down rumors.

During a chat with the Los Angeles Times, Selena joked, “We had just started working together. I honestly thought, ‘No wonder guys don’t want to date me!'” The OMITB star continued, “I think people only care because I’m young, and the older I get, the less they’ll care. For now, it’s a part of the job that I don’t really like. I’m actually grateful that I’m not involved with anyone right now.”

Is Selena Gomez dating anyone right now?

Selena has been single for a pretty long time, and while she has been living her best life as an independent woman, her fans want nothing more than to see her find love (as well as come out with a new album). Well, it seems like she might have found it according to some recent rumors.

According to gossip account Deuxmoi, Selena was been spotted getting cozy with NBA star Jimmy Butler in December 2020.

E! News also reported on the brand new possible couple with a source saying that they have gone out “a few times” but nothing is official as she’s “keeping her options open.”

Who has Selena dated?

Just a couple of your favorite celebs. Her last public relationship was with Justin, while they were on again from October 2017 to February 2018. Since then, Selena hasn’t publicly posted or commented about her love life, though her friends have.

In February 2019, a source told Us Weekly, that Selena wasn’t looking to date, since she wanted to focus on herself.

Selena and Justin had a rocky on-and-off relationship from 2010, when the rumors they were dating started, to their end in 2018. Shortly after, Justin went on to marry Hailey Baldwin.

Jelena, as fans admiringly named them, went through almost everything during the timeline of their relationship, even releasing songs that let us into the details of their messy relationship. Justin made “Sorry,” “What Do You Mean,” and “Mark My Words,” while Selena gave us the feels with her single, “The Heart Wants What It Wants.”

Selena’s other infamous long-term relationship was with singer, the Weeknd. It lasted 10 months but eventually ended in October 2017. According to The Cheat Sheet, a source revealed it was because the two couldn’t find time to spend with each other, due to their conflicting schedules. Though, some speculated it could have been because of Justin Bieber.

The Weeknd alluded to details of his and Selena’s relationship in his album, My Dear Melancholy, possibly admitting that he almost donated a kidney to her during her health scare.

In October 2016, rumors swirled that Selena and Charlie Puth were becoming a thing. Together they recorded their hit duet, “We Don’t Talk Anymore.” Though they never admitted it at the time, Charlie sort of confirmed the fling in a 2018 interview with Billboard. He alluded to the relationship saying this of it, “Very short-lived, very small, but very impactful. And it really messed me up. I’m trying to put this the best way possible: It wasn’t like I was the only person on her mind. And I think I knew that going in — what I was getting myself into.”

That other person on her mind could have been Justin Bieber, or Samuel Krost, an NYU student and friend of Gigi Hadid she was also spotted with in 2016.

Though Selena never confirmed she and Samuel were actually dating, romance rumors were sparked after paparazzi captured photos of them holding hands on more than one occasion. Eventually Krost did confirm they were dating, though.

In a 2016 Instagram post he quickly deleted, Krost said “Selena is a real girl with a real heart and real feelings. All you superficial who are just unhappy with your love lives, understand that love is real. Although we have ventured on separate paths, at least I know that love exists. I love you, Sel.”

In 2016, Selena Gomez was also briefly linked to Orlando Bloom, though they’ve both denied that was ever really a thing. The rumors came after pictures of Orlando and her getting cozy in a Las Vegas nightclub surfaced online. At the time, Orlando was still dating Katy Perry, so the blogs were quick to call the whole thing a messy love triangle. Katy remained unbothered, chalking it all up to conspiracies and rumors.

In 2015, Selena had a short-lived romance with German-Russian DJ, Zedd. It only lasted a few months, but eventually both confirmed the relationship did exist. In a 2015 interview with a New Zealand radio station, Selena said “ I adore Anton [Zedd] alot and I definitely had a thing with him, which was nice.” Later on, Zedd would also confirm his fling with Selena in a 2017 interview with Billboard, saying that due to Selena’s celebrity status, the relationship was unlike anything he had ever experienced before. “People were hacking my friends’ phones.
