When one thinks of celebrity watch collectors, they probably think of the likes of John Mayer, Sylvester Stallone, or Conor McGregor. These celebs are well-known collectors have been collecting for years and have developed large collections. Tom Holland then represents a more unlikely collector among celebrity watch enthusiasts. While Holland is now a superstar thanks to his portrayal of Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, at just 25 years old he has amassed quite the watch collection (also check out the watches worn in the MCU and DC Comics movies). Holland clearly has a preference for the classics as most of his collection is made up of Cartier, Rolex, and Patek Philippe.
So what watches does Tom Holland wear? Let’s take a look at 13 of the watches from his collection.
TOM HOLLAND’S CARTIER WATCHES
Tom Holland’s collections includes quite a few Cartier watches. One of the pieces he has been seen wearing fairly often is the classic Cartier Santos. The Cartier Santos is distinctive for its square dial, rectangular case and screws on the bezel. You can pick up the the Cartier Santos 100 on the secondary market for about $5,000 USD.
In addition to the traditional Cartier Santos 100, Holland also has been spotted wearing the more ornate Cartier Santos-Dumont Skeleton. This beautiful piece has blue hands, a white gold case and an exposed, hand-wound movement. The Cartier Santos-Dumont Skeleton retails for $56,000 but is available for purchase on the secondary market for around $49,000 USD.
Holland has also been spotted wearing more formal Cartier classics when the occasion called for it. One such piece is the Cartier Tank Américaine in yellow gold. This piece has a sleek, elongated curved case that hugs your wrist and slips nicely under the cuff of a dress shirt. It’s the perfect watch for Holland to wear while attending those premieres. The Cartier Tank Américaine retails for $15,900 directly from Cartier.
The final Cartier I will feature from Holland’s collection is a piece you don’t see as often of as the Santos or Tank already featured. Santos has also been seen wearing the gold Drive de Cartier with moonphase. The drive has an interesting cushion style case that is not quite round yet not quite rectangular. You can tell the piece has a moonphase if you zoom in closely to Tom’s wrist. The Drive de Cartier with moonphase is available for purchase from Cartier for $19,500 USD.
TOM HOLLAND’S PATEK PHILIPPE WATCHES
In addition to Cartier, Tom Holland has a growing collection of Patek Philippe watches. Holland, however, has eschewed the more popular Nautilus for the still very in-demand Aquanaut. Holland has been spotted on multiple different occasions wearing the 40mm Patek Philippe Aquanaut in 18k rose gold (Ref. 5167R). The Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167R currently retails for $43,760 USD and is available on the secondary market for between $135,000 and $160,00 USD.
Holland also owns a very similar Aquanaut to the rose gold 5167R. He has the white gold Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5168G with blue dial. As everyone knows blue dials are very hot in the market right now, and this Aquanaut is not exception. While the 5168G retails for $47,310 USD, it is available on the secondary market for between $150,000 and $170,000 USD.
Holland has also been spotted wearing a more complicated Patek Philippe. Recently, at the Spider-Man: No Way Home premiere, Tom was wearing a Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Ref. 5940R in rose gold. The retail price on this piece is $87,300 USD.
TOM HOLLAND’S ROLEX WATCHES
In addition to his Cartier and Patek Philippe Collection, Holland has quite a few Rolexes. Holland has some of the hardest to get steel Rolexes in his collection, including the Rolex Daytona Ref. 116500 with white dial. This Daytona might be the hardest watch to get from Rolex during the current hot market. The Rolex Daytona 116500 retails for $14,550 USD (there was a recent price increase) but sells on the secondary market for around $50,000 USD.
Holland has also been spotted wearing one of the most basic Rolexes, the Rolex Submariner. The submariner is the staple watch in many young enthusiasts’ collections. But Holland does not have just any old Submariner. He has the Rolex Submariner Ref. 126610LV with black dial and green bezel. This watch is often referred to as the “Starbucks”or “Cermit” in the collecting community. This is because the green bezel and black dial remind some of the Starbucks logo. The Cermit nickname comes from the older variation with aluminum bezel being called the “Kermit” combined with the the “cer” from the new ceramic bezel. Whether you want to call it the Starbucks or the Cermit, this recent release from Rolex retails for $10,600 USD and is selling on the secondary market for around $26,000 USD.
At the Madrid premiere for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland was spotted wearing a Rolex GMT-Master II “Batman” Ref. 126710BLNR. As everyone knows, Batman is a DC Comics property. Perhaps Holland should’ve worn a Hulk, since the Hulk is actually Marvel and part of the MCU? He also could have worn a GMT Pepsi as the red and blue are Spider-Man’s colors. We’re just kidding Tom, the Rolex Batman is a great watch. It retails for $10,550 USD (on Oyster bracelet) but is selling on the secondary market for around $25,000 USD.
Holland was also spotted in another GMT-Master II. Holland was spotted in Rome wearing the two-tone Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 126711. Nicknamed the “Root Beer” because of it’s black and brown bezel, this piece has very nice rose gold accents and is one of my favorite two-tone watches from Rolex. The two-tone Rolex GMT-Master II Root Beer retails for $15,250 but is selling for between $30,000 and $35,000 USD on the secondary market.
We have seen Holland wearing a Rolex GMT-Master II “Batman” and many of us wondered how he could wear a watch nicknamed after a DC Comics character (he is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe). Well, Holland was recently spotted wearing the Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 126710BLRO on oyster bracelet. While the watch is nicknamed the “Pepsi” the colors also align very nicely with Spider-Man (whom Holland portrays). Yes the red and blue colors are also Superman’s colors, but I’ll let that one slide. The Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 126710BLRO with oyster bracelet retails for $10,550 USD. You can pick one up on the secondary market for around $30,000 USD.
TOM HOLLAND’S PIAGET WATCH
In addition to Rolex, Cartier and Patek Philippe, Holland has been spotted wearing the very nice Piaget Altiplano Ref. G0B43120. His piece has an 18k rose gold case and exposed movement on the dial. Piaget is known for their ultra-thin watches and this watch doesn’t disappoint. The case thickness of this piece is just 4.3mm! The retail price for the Piaget Altiplano is $29,800 USD.
TOM HOLLAND’S BAUME & MERCIER WATCH
In addition to all the watches Holland owns, he also has a very affordable Baume & Mercier Classima Ref. MOA10275. This watch is a great bang for your buck if you like a classic design with some interesting aesthetics, like an open balance on the dial. A great dress watch, the Baume & Mercier Classima retails for just $2,990 USD on a leather strap (the watch is also available on a steel bracelet for $3,150 USD).
TOM HOLLAND’S TAG HEUER MONACO WATCH
Tom Holland attended last year’s Monaco Grand Prix wearing a very appropriate watch. Holland was seen wearing the limited edition Tag Heuer Monaco Titan. Limited to just 500 pieces this watch features a sandblasted titanium case and grey dial. While not technically a “lefty” watch, Steve McQueen famously wore it on his right wrist and we featured it among the best left-handed watches. The Tag Heuer Monaco Titan retails for $7,900 USD.
