When jaguars and caiman come together, there is usually only 1 winner, but that doesn’t mean that the caiman will give it up easily. This battle took place in the Pantanal, in Brazil, and this caiman was a fighter! The jaguar, exhausted after the struggle underwater, came up with a better plan: just pin the caiman underwater and it will drown, which it did.

I am sure there was plenty of damage caused to the neck when the jaguar caught it, but ultimately, it was the water that got it. The Jaguar is such a badass hunter. And look how comfortable it is in the water. You’d think it was an aquatic animal, No other big cat has mastered that element like the Jaguar.

The fact that this cat held its breath underwater for so long is just truly amazing. Obviously, a tried, tested, and perfected hunting method by this jaguar. I used to think Leopards are badass but the Jaguar is the ultimate technology of a weapon cat.
