Three goals against Burnley brought Manchester City striker Erling Haaland into Cristiano Ronaldo’s gang and elite Premier League players.
Erling Haaland recorded a hat-trick, aka tri-goal, when Manchester City hosted Burnley in the 2022-2023 FA Cup quarter-finals.
The contribution from the player from Norway resulted in a 6-0 victory for the home team at the Etihad Stadium, Saturday (18/3/2023) or early Sunday WIB.
Haaland’s three goals came less than an hour after kick-off.
Haaland opened The Citizens’ lead in the 32nd minute after maximizing Julian Alvarez’s pass.
Just three minutes later, he returned to thrill the visitors’ nets.
Haaland’s third goal came in the 59th minute by taking advantage of a rebound ball.
“I am a striker, I like to score goals, but my focus is not scoring goals, but getting chances,” said the bomber.
“If I get a chance, it will open up a good opportunity for me to score a goal,” Haaland added.
