There are many ways to judge just how great Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is.
You can look at his four rings, the fact that he has the most three-pointers in the history of the league or the fact that he’s now a Finals MVP winner too.
You can also evaluate his greatness based on the fact that he’s still putting up 50-point games at this point in his career.
But just because Curry can accumulate 50 points in a game doesn’t mean his team is going to win.
In fact, ClutchPoints revealed that Curry has had two 50-point games this season.
Both of them have been on the road and both of them have resulted in losses for the Warriors.
Curry’s second 50-pointer came on Wednesday night as he and his team took on the Los Angeles Clippers.
Curry was incredible with his 50 points, 2 rebounds, and 6 assists.
He was also 8-of-14 from the three-point line and had a 71.4% field goal percentage.
Yet, the Warriors still fell to the Los Angeles Clippers, 134-126.
The first 50-point game came back in November when he scored 50 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists in a loss against the Phoenix Suns.
The fact that Curry is able to score so much and the Warriors still lose shows that the problems plaguing this team are widespread and deep.
It’s never a good sign when a team has a player like this and they continue to lose.
The Warriors have had a horrible time when away from home this season, and hold one of the worst road records in the league.
No matter how great Curry is, the Warriors have the uncanny ability to still lose.
