Wolf of Wall Street icon Margot Robbie looked sensational at the 2023 Academy Awards ceremony, appearing alongside Morgan Freeman in a plunging Armani Privé gown
Margot Robbie left fans absolutely stunned as she dazzled in a plunging gown at the Oscars 2023.
The Wolf of Wall Street star put her hourglass curves front and centre in a gown from Armani Privé, which featured an off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline.
Margot’s gown left her shoulders and cleavage bare to the air before falling to skim the floor, woven through with glittering gold strands.
The hourglass-shaped gown, which hailed from Armani Privé, featured velvet pinstripes down the lengthy skirt, and was embellished with golden gems over the corset as Margot stood alongside Morgan Freeman to present a Warner Brothers commercial.
Margot let her sleek brunette tresses fall loose down her back, accessorising with a simple pair of gold hoop earrings and a chunky gemstone ring on her left hand.
For make-up, she opted for a glossy plum lip and dusted her cheeks with blush, adding just a hint of eyeliner as she beamed while strutting her stuff on the stage.
Margot skipped the champagne carpet for the event, and debuted her gown on the stage. Despite having no individual nominations for the night, her film Babylon was placed in the production design, music and costume design categories.
Sadly it failed to walk away with any awards on the night.
It comes after the revelation that Margot was forced to lie to her parents about doing nude scenes when she first started out in Hollywood.
She chatted to Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel on his late-night chat show back in 2014, admitting that nudity became a “point of contention” with her family.
Jimmy asked her at the time: “You are very naked in the movie, for a lot of the film. Did they tell you about that going in or was that a surprise?”
Margot confessed: “Yeah, that was a small point of contention with my family.
“I just flat out lied to my family for a really long time. I said, ‘I don’t care what you hear, there is no nudity, I’m not doing any nudity. Ignore anything anyone’s saying, there is no nudity’.”
The I, Tonya star continued: “And then I thought, ‘Well, the movie’s going to come out and they’ll see there’s nudity’, so I changed that. The lie evolved to, ‘Well actually it’s a body double, and they just CGI-ed my head onto someone else’.”
