Manchester City legend Yaya Toure admits he loves watching Thomas Partey play and would see him at Arsenal every weekend if he could.
Toure knows a thing or two about being a top midfielder, being arguably one of the most dominant players of his generation at the peak of his powers.

Toure was a vital cog in Man City’s Premier League title winning campaigns in 2012 and 2014. He also won the title in 2018
The 39-year-old, now an Under-16s coach at Tottenham, had plenty of praise for the Ghana international when asked by talkSPORT’s Jim White.
He said: “Yeah he’s brilliant, it’s really nice to see.
“I think now every weekend when Arsenal have to play, I have to be honest, I would go just to watch him. He’s just unbelievable.”
The Premier League title race is being hotly contested by Partey’s Arsenal and Toure’s old club City.
Toure won the Premier League three times across his eight seasons with the Manchester club, including one iconic season in 2013/14 where he scored 20 goals from midfield.
The former Ivory Coast international admitted there is a lot to like about the Gunners at the moment, but is hoping Man City can do the job.

Toure continued: “At the moment, it is really tight. Man City are just playing really well and are hoping Arsenal will drop points.
“I think Arsenal will drop points. It is a long way still, the pressure is there. Man United are still doing well, Liverpool a brilliant result a few days ago, and Arsenal are competing fantastically well.
“Sometimes a team who can become champions you can always smell that luck and positivity.
“When I see games most of the time, you can feel champions when the team score and the camaraderie between the players and the celebrations and enjoying playing for each other.
He added: “It was a last-minute goal [against Bournemouth]. I don’t want to say it is a decider of the league as it’s a long way to go. I hope Man City will do it because I’m a fan of Man City.”
Toure is currently a youth coach at Spurs, being appointed in August 2022
Since hanging up his boots he has turned to coaching with Spurs and hinted that it is where his future lies in the game.
On his role with Tottenham’s Under-16s, Toure said: “It’s fantastic in terms of the development and understanding.
“I get to develop myself as a future coach and help develop the lads – I think it’s a fantastic journey for me.
“Sometimes they try and challenge me, but it’s tough to be honest, I need a bit of luck!”
