Mo’s teenage love Magi Salah prefers to stay out of public eye so here is something you might not know about her.
Magi Salah (born Maji Mohammed Sadeq) was born and raised in Nagrig, the same town where Mohamed Salah was born. She has a twin sister, Mohab, and two other sisters, Mahy and Miram.
• Magi’s parents were teachers at Mohammed Eyad Al Tantawi school. Magi was a student there, so was Mo Salah. You guessed it, that’s where they met and fell in love with each other.
• Magi has a bachelor degree in Commerce although some sources claim it’s in Biotechnology.
• Magi and Mo have been close friends since elementary school. They got married in December 2013, and a little less than a year later lovely Makka Salah was born.
Sometimes tabloids criticise Magi Salah for her conservative clothing style but she remains humble and loyal to her roots and Islam values. She prefers to live a simple life and stay out of the public focus.
• However, you’d often see Magi at the stands cheering for her husband. She also was at Anfield last season when Salah was awarded the Golden Boot for his Premier League goal-scoring exploits. And surely, she was the first to congratulate him after Liverpool secured their 6th Champions League win in Madrid.
