Coach Jurgen Klopp has expressed his delight with striker Marcus Rashford’s form in the press conference before the big match at Anfield.
Man United is in a very sublime stage. Ten Hag teachers and students compete in all 4 arenas and just won the Carabao Cup championship last weekend.
Coach Jurgen Klopp knows well the promotion momentum of rival Man United but is not annoyed but even takes his hat off.
“They’re having a better season, but thank God this weekend’s game doesn’t mean much. We have to make sure that confronting us is extremely difficult. We have to make sure they realize that. I don’t care much about what Manchester United are doing, I just respect it.”
Klopp also congratulated Rashford with his destructive form in recent times. The English player has reached the milestone of 25 goals for MU this season.
“It’s impossible to be happy about something at Man United as a Liverpool manager. But I am very happy for Rashford because he has had a difficult year. I know that will change, but sometimes you just don’t have time to change it.
But now he is playing phenomenally. Speed, technique, a combination of everything, calm in front of goal, scoring simple goals, scoring super goals, heading, Rashford scored every goal.
We played against world-class attacking players. And if you’re pushed into 1-on-1 situations, you’re clearly at a disadvantage. We have to deal with it as a whole.”
