Former WWE Superstar Dwayne Johnson has always been vocal about his personal life. He is extremely active on social media and likes to keep his huge fan following updated about his whereabouts.

During the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, the Rock revealed a funny story relating to his mother’s car accident that took place the previous week.

The former world champion posted an update on his Instagram page last week revealing that his mother survived the brutal car crash. He coupled the post with a scary picture of the red car that was severely damaged. In his post, The Brahma Bull hailed his mom’s fighting spirit by labeling her “a survivor” and giving an account of the things she has successfully battled including “lung cancer, tough marriage, head-on collision with a drunk driver and attempted suicide.”

The Great One recently attended the 65th Annual Grammy Awards that took place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. When asked about his mom Ata Johnson’s condition, the 50-year-old narrated a funny exchange he had with the paramedics. Johnson professed that he received a call from the paramedics at 3 A.M in the morning which got him worked up. However, what followed was not what he had expected and certainly made the situation lighter.

“She’s doing really good, I appreciate that. … It was a scary moment. It was 3 a.m. when I got that phone call. You know when my phone rings at 3 a.m. and it’s a family member, it’s not good. Luckily, she had the wits about her to call. She put the paramedics on [the phone], and I said, ‘Hello, this is Dwayne Johnson’ and the paramedic says, ‘Oh, I know. She’s been telling us she’s The Rock’s mom.”

The legendary wrestler could still appear at this year’s WrestleMania despite his lack of appearance at the Royal Rumble.

The chances of The Rock’s presence at WrestleMania 39 took a major blow after Cody Rhodes emerged as the winner of the Royal Rumble last month. The American Nightmare will now be facing Roman Reigns as The Grandest Stage of Them All which puts an end to the rumors of The Brahma Bull headlining WrestleMania 39.

But the question that still remains is will the Rock be present in any capacity as WrestleMania goes Hollywood this year? Well, the answer is still not clear. At the post-Royal Rumble press conference, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H failed to provide a concrete answer yet about the WrestleMania plans for The Great One.

Though the chances are not the same as before, this keeps the fans hoping and dreaming about Dwayne Johnson making his way out to the ring to his iconic entrance theme in Hollywood. But only time will tell if these dreams turn into reality at The Show of Shows.
