Lately, more and more moms are sharing on Tik Tok the unexpected way they gave birth to their babies. Deshai Fudd, from Atlanta, USA, is one of them, and her story is truly incredible!
In her viral TikTok, “Storytime of my daughter’s birth,” Fudd recounts her experience with a photo montage from birth in the car to arrival at the hospital.
“I gave birth to my baby girl in the car on the way to the hospital. We got stuck in traffic and had to flag down police for an escort,” Fudd shares, showing herself holding her newborn baby in the passenger seat, revealing that her little one… wasn’t waiting for anyone!
“We made it to the hospital, and she was in mint condition. Thank god! We even got discharged the very next day,” she continued.
In the comments, she explains her husband had been panicking while she was more focused on trying to keep calm, keep her baby warm, and monitor her breathing until help arrived.
“This was very scary, but we are blessed to have another healthy, beautiful addition to the family. We can’t wait for her to grow up and hear her crazy birth story.”
Many of her followers were shocked and amazed. “Well done, mama!” said one. “Holy cow, you’re rock stars!” agreed another.
While some revealed that they had been through a similar experience or now had a fear of it happening.
“I had my fifth baby on the side of the 575, thanks to AM rush hour traffic to Atlanta. I feel this in my soul!” said one mum.
“I was so afraid of this for my second. With number three, I’m going to be camped outside the hospital at 37 weeks,” joked another.
